Description

The Arabic inscription reads “Alhumdulillahi Rubil Alameen”, which is often translated to “All praises are for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds”. It is one of the seven oft-repeated verses and is the opening verse of surah Al-Fatihah, which itself is the opening surah of the Qur’an. All the daily prayers begin with praise of the One to whom the prayer is addressed, and that’s why they start with this powerful and beautiful verse.
