These splendour Orchids are the flowers hand-crafted by Singapore Gardens under Orchid breeding programme since from 1928.

As Orchids have long been identified with Singapore, orchid Vanda Ms Joquim was chosen as Singapore national flower.

Singapore is the only nation to have a hybrid as national flower.

Today, from Singapore’s bank note and coins to stamps and souvenirs, there are orchid motifs of the unique orchids.
