Description
The Sultan Mosque located in Kampong Glam, is a significant landmark in the area. It was built from 1924 to 1928 to replace the existing mosque that was built around 1824. The mosque is the focus of the Muslim faith in Singapore and is a mixture of Classical, Moorish, Turkish and Persian themes, which together formed a recognizable Islamic style.
