Description

The Singapore River has played a pivotal role in Singapore’s development. The Singapore River spans approximately 3.2 kilometres long, from the sea to its upper reaches at urban centre of Singapore. The mouth of river used to be the Old Port of Singapore; the city was grown around the port so became the central of trade, finance and commerce. There were also government buildings built along the River side.
